Greek Diet and Epigenetics

This is the most professional workshop you can find in Europe that teaches material medica from Greece according to Greek traditional medicine.

Program :

  • Day one

    Introduction to Greek medicine, herbal therapy, and its foundation.

  • Day two

    Hiking and herbing, we walk and introduce local herbs with an in-depth introduction of their medicinal usage in Greek traditional medicine. In the evening lecture, – steps in Heaven, the degrees of herbs

     

  • Day three

    Hiking and herbing, on this day, we will focus on resins. We will introduce the resins in Greek medicine after the hike in the afternoon workshop on herbal preparation with resins.

  • Day four

    Food, drink, and herbs: we will learn about the herbs that can be used in food and drink, their qualities, and their usage. We will taste and prepare our own combination of healthy herbal foods.

  • Day five

    Systems and recipes, On this day, we will learn about the different organs and the herbs that are used to treat them.

  • Day six

    Making traditional Greek pharmacy, we will learn and practice the preparation of different traditional preparations like hydrosol, majoon, elixir, syrup, and tincture, all from the classic texts.

  • Day seven

    Hiking and herbing, On the final day, we will again enjoy the beautiful nature, but this time, when you all have Greek eyes, we will finish with a beautiful herbal Greek meal.

Program: This program is meant for nature lovers and people with an interest in traditional medicine who want to learn and enjoy Greece on a different level with professional guides who are tops in their field. This week is a door to a whole world of traditional Greek medicine we offer in Greek Roots, chios. The program includes walking in nature for 4-5 hours per day and classes in English with English-language materials. It is suitable for people over the age of 16 and only for nature lovers.

Cost: 1100 euros per person; minimum 7 people in a group, maximum 20. The cost includes teaching, guiding, materials at the course, transportation for the tour alone, one meal a day, and snacks.

Not included: hotel, insurance, hiking equipment, and tips.
